August Burns Red
August Burns Red
Every time August Burns Red record an album, the GRAMMY® Award-nominated Pennsylvania quintet—John “JB” Brubaker [lead guitar], Brent Rambler [rhythm guitar], Matt Greiner [drums], Jake Luhrs [lead vocals], and Dustin Davidson [bass]—push themselves harder, raze expectations, and reach a new level. It’s why they’ve become a heavy music torchbearer. In 2015, Found In Far Away Places marked their second consecutive Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200. The single “Identity” notched a GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of “Best Metal Performance.” A streaming juggernaut, both “Identity” and “Ghosts” [feat. Jeremy McKinnon] crossed the 3-million mark on Spotify. When it came time to record their eighth full-length Phantom Anthem, the game didn’t change. The musicians put their heads down and rallied around the same shared goal, upping the ante across the board. The musical equivalent of a clenched fist haymaker, the grooves hit harder, the hooks blaze brighter, and the instrumentation ignites even more intricacy as evidenced by lead singles “Invisible Enemy” and “The Frost.”
Born Of Osiris
Born Of Osiris
Some bands roll with the tide, while others generate it. Exhuming technically proficient and progressive metal, BORN OF OSIRIS exerted a seismic impact on heavy music with its trend-setting 2007 debut The New Reign only to shake things up even more on The Discovery in 2011. However, once again, the critically acclaimed Chicago six-piece will be setting a new paradigm with its highly anticipated fourth full-length album for Sumerian Records.

Teaming up with acclaimed producers Joey Sturgis [The Devil Wears Prada, Emmure] and Nick Sampson, the group is primed to explode like never before, manipulating 6-string and 7-string guitars on the same recording diversifying their writing and pushing their boundaries further than ever before.

Lee McKinney (guitars) states: “We were more focused for the writing of this record than any of our previous efforts. We've had 2+ years to write, critique, adjust and learn these songs, which is just something we haven't had in the past with our intense touring schedule. All of us living together and constantly feeding off eachother's energy made for the best and most focused BORN OF OSIRIS album to date.

BORN OF OSIRIS are mature well beyond their years and this dynamic progressive juggernaut has now perfectly honed all of their collective talents to create what will soon be a pinnacle release for the metal genre.
Erra
Erra
ERRA is a progressive Metalcore band from Birmingham, Alabama. Since their formation in 2009, they have self-released 2 EPs, titled ERRA and Andromeda. They went on to sign with Tragic Hero Records and release their debut album Impulse in 2011. Their second album, Augment, which was released 2 years later, reached number 1 on the ARIA heatseekers chart. It was the album that started to see them gain a lot more traction, and consequently was the only other record to be released under the label. After becoming more successful with Augment, ERRA signed with Sumerian Records and released their 3rd EP titled Moments of Clarity. This EP is the first release to not feature unclean vocalist and co-founding member, Garrison Lee. Shortly before the EP was released, ERRA recruited a replacement vocalist, Ian Eubanks to perform on the record and subsequently become the new frontman. After the release of Moments of Clarity - as early as December 2014, guitarist Jesse Cash began working on the next record, their vocalist also started to write lyrics for the album. In August 2015, Ian Eubanks decided to step down as unclean vocalist, stating that he struggled to perform his vocal parts during touring, and that he was no longer able to scream correctly. Consequently, ERRA once again was on the search for another unclean vocalist. The new vocalist JT Cavey (ex Texas in July) was announced through the release of the lead single Luminesce for their upcoming record Drift. The record was released in April 2016, and is the latest release for the band.
