The Lovemakers are a pop music band from Oakland, California, formed in the spring of 2002. The band was formed by Scott Blonde (guitar, vocals) and Lisa Light (vocals, bass) after they were forced out of their previous band, Applesaucer, an indie rock group. Also in the band is Josh "The Eagle" Kilbourne on drums. The band is currently recording their 4th album, entitled "Let's Be Friends" at the Talking House studio in San Francisco.
