With our prime location, just one block from BBVA Compass Stadium, three blocks from Minute Maid Park, three blocks from MetroRail’s New Purple Line and directly behind the George R. Brown Convention Center, Warehouse Live is one of Houston’s signature multipurpose facilities, offering the versatility to accommodate groups as small as 50 and as large as 1,600.
Warehouse Live has been configured to offer unrivaled flexibility in layout and production. The complex encompasses three fully independent spaces:
The Ballroom, which can host up to 1300 people for a standing room only event, or up to 450 theater seated
The Studio, that can accommodate 450 for standing room or up to 200 theater seated
The Greenroom, our coziest setting, which can accommodate 125 people standing or up to 50 theater seated
Each of these spaces has their own entrances and exits, restrooms, bars, flat screen LCD TVs, stages, sound and lighting systems.
While parking can often be a problem downtown, Warehouse Live benefits from ample street parking throughout the Warehouse District and has access to three dedicated surface lots adjacent to the facility. Additional lots are nearby, and valet parking can be arranged for specific events.
The basic rental rates are as follows and are based on a minimum 6 hour event:
The Ballroom – $4,500
The Studio – $1,500
The Greenroom – $600
All the rates listed above include the rental fee, basic sound and lights and basic staffing. Other staffing needs, special needs and requirements will be priced accordingly. For pricing of renting multiple rooms or the entire venue, please contact us.
For all rentals we also require a beverage minimum deposit. This deposit is refundable if the beverage minimum is met. The beverage minimum is gross sales less taxes and complimentary beverages. The beverage minimum deposits for the rooms are as follows:
The Ballroom – $2,500
The Studio – $1,000
The Greenroom – $500
An open bar package is also available. We can provide pricing upon request.
The Sound & Lighting package is included in the rent and features our full sound and light system, wired microphones, monitors, and mixers (basically all the sound and lighting equipment required by a live band). In order to utilize our stage sound and light system, technicians are required for your event (this cost is not included in the rental price). For any additional audio/visual needs, please ask us and we will be happy to get you a quote.
Warehouse Live welcomes all outside caterers. Proof of liability insurance will be required along with proper licenses.
A ten percent discount towards the rental fee will be afforded to not-for-profit organizations holding a Federal 501(c)3 certificate. This will apply to all days except Saturdays when no discount will be offered.
