Isaiah Rashad
Isaiah Rashad
Isaiah Rashad is a Chattanooga, Tennessee born songwriter/producer, that's a hybrid of new and old school Hip hop and abstract soul. He was raised primarily by his mother and his step father. Rashad was submerged in hip hop at a very young age.
Rashad first began rapping seriously in 9th grade, while he and his friends would record on old mac desktops w no mics. After high school, he went to Middle Tennessee State University, first with the thought to become an audio engineer, but then settled on sociology. After flunking out of school, he lived couch to couch with his friends and begun to record music. In December 2012, Rashad started gaining attention from various record labels and A&R's, by releasing many free singles on Soundlcloud. In March 2013, Rashad signed to Carson, California-based independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment.

On January 28, 2014, he released Cilvia Demo, his first extended play, via digital distribution. Cilvia Demo was met with widespread acclaim from music critics and debuted at number 40 on the US Billboard 200. Following the release Rashad was named to the 2014 XXL freshman class. He then spent most of 2014 on the Oxymoron tour as direct support for ScHoolboy Q. After a year hiatus, on September 2, 2016, he released his debut studio album, "The Sun's Tirade," which peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200. Rashad continues to record music while he preps to kick off his Lil Sunny Tour this January 2017.
Lance Skiiiwalker
Lance Skiiiwalker
Lance “Johnny Rocket” Howard, better known as Lance Skiiiwalker, is a songwriter, producer and rapper from Chicago, IL. He’s best known for his work with TDE artists Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar. Although he was previously a member of the hip hop duo The Rocketeers, alongside Darius “D-Win” Winfield.

Wondering what “Skiiiwalker” is supposed to mean? The three i’s are in reference to HiiiPower, a movement headed by other members of TDE, especially Kendrick Lamar. Each “i” represents one of three pillars: Heart, Honor, and Respect. “Skywalker” is also the last name of notorious fictional characters from the classic movie series Star Wars.
August ends, the rest of the year begins, and somewhere in the middle we see the start of something very new. A fresh career gains light in the hip-hop horizon as SubTRAP explodes with creativity and experimentation, giving us album guests in character-form with sounds ranging from ominous to eclectic.

Jay IDK (Ignorantly Delivering Knowledge) takes us on a deeply rooted lyrical journey through his stomping grounds and delivers a conceptually compelling approach by introducing 5 distinct personas: Chris, Jon Jon, Matt, Ed, and Jay's alter ego, the felonious King Trappy III. The DMV native illustrates these characters through a layered narrative — incorporating their conflicted testimonies of illicit drugs, immoral temptations and the urban survival mentality. The different personas of Jay IDK showcase his perceptive lyricism and transformative style.

His debut LP, SubTRAP, is more than just the glorified inner city struggle. The first track, Sexy Bartender Pt.1, symbolizes his hunger for hip-hop prestige and his motivation for trapping. Each character on this LP is a vivid reflection stemming from his past struggles, people he's met and his potent imagination. Through lucid anecdotes and daring rhymes, SubTRAP revives what we've been longing for since hip-hop virtuosos like Nas and Talib Kweli penetrated the industry. With his unique take on seamless storytelling, Jay IDK is nothing short of killin' the game.

Since the release, Jay IDK has racked up over two million plays on Soundcloud, sending him off on tour dates with G-Eazy, Post Malone and A$AP Ferg. A rising talent with passion and an eye for detail, Jay IDK reflects on the struggle of a young MC, freestyling about life's struggles and dreams.
