Yung Martez
Yung Martez
Yung Martez was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, but raised in the streets of 5th Ward, Texas. Coming from a rough upbringing Martez channeled that energy to create music.

Yung Martez originally started out in a group called MPS which made hits such as, “Dats My Lil’ Dip” & “No Man Needed.” Yung Martez has since begun working on his solo project “A Ghetto Genius,” and released his first single “When I Call, featuring Propain & Shun Ward” which has gotten spins on major stations in the Southern region, featured on MTV Jams, interviews with national media outlets “Hip Hop Weekly” and can be seen on World Star Hip Hop.

Yung Martez’s notoriety in the south has positioned him for success. After releasing the single “When I Call,” Martez was named as brand ambassador for celebrity jeweler King Johnny. His jewelry has been seen on many celebrities from Bun B, Boosie, Trinidad James and Plies just to name a few.

Yung Martez’s Upcoming Mixtape “STRUGGLE 2 SUCCESS RELOADED” houses a number of hits from street sounds to music for the ladies, is hosted by HollyHood Bay Bay & Kiotti and has numerous features from some of the OGs in Houston like Scarface, Slim Thug, Paul Wall and Lil KeKe, as well as a club banger featuring Beat King and Chedda Da Connect. Young Dolph, Shun Ward and Brian Angel of Day 26 also make guest appearances on the mixtape. Despite the impressive lineup, it is Yung Martez who steals the show with his unique sound and creative way of telling a story; the story of his life and the struggles he has been through to make it out of the streets and into this music industry.
